🤖 Set up AI Generation

Zody's AI features need a connection to Anthropic's AI. This takes about 3 minutes and costs less than a cup of coffee per month at typical classroom use.

💡 What does it cost? Anthropic charges per puzzle generated — roughly 1–2 pence per puzzle. A typical teacher generating 10 puzzles a week would spend around £0.40–£0.80 a month. You start with £4 of free credit, enough for 200–400 puzzles.

Go to console.anthropic.com and sign up. It's free — no payment needed to get started.

Get your personal access code
Once logged in, click API Keys in the left menu → click Create Key → give it any name (e.g. "Zody Connect") → click Copy. This long code is your personal key — treat it like a password.
